Artmyist P.O.V.
“You let them escape!” Artmyist screamed at his followers.
“I'm s-s-sorry your greatness.” the boy replied crying in fear.
“Sorry. Your not sorry. No one is ever sorry!” Artmyist screamed in frustration. “I want them found now!! He shall not escape this time right, or it might be your head. And you better not let him get to that stupid tree or those goody two shoes honor holding stupid Aces and their puny body guards or so they are called.
“Yes s-s-sir!” the boy saluted and ran from Artmyist in a hurry. Running as fast as his little legs could carry him.
“God! It's so hard to find good help these days!” Artmyist whispered to himself loudly. He started ranting inside his head as he shuffled through papers on his cluttered desk. “I really need a house keeper I think.” he whispered out loud.
He had to get the boy. He was the key to everything. He holds it in is heart. During his ranting and such, the tent flap opened and Calstra stepped in.
“Father?” Calstra whispered, afraid that she might have interrupted something important.
“What do you want?” Artmyist flared out at Calstra. He noticed the hurt on her face and instantly regretted the sudden outburst.
“I'm sorry Calstra. I thought you were someone else sweetie. What is it that you wish?” Artmyist suddenly turned to a father figure.
“I met someone today in the elven city of Lunes!” Calstra exclaimed. Her big green eyes were bright an twinkling like stars. Her face was turning bright red.
“I'm guessing it was a boy?” Artmyist vowed in his head to torture the boy till he was either dead or something along those lines. No one could have his Calstra and not go unpunished.
“Wha! How'd you know?!” Calstra exclaimed. Artmyist stifled a sigh and a laugh. How could he have raised such a naïve girl? He would never understand.
“It's written all over your face.” Calstra instantly touched her hands to her face as it began to glow a bright red. Again Artmyist stifled the laughing sigh. He wasn't in the mood for one of her silly games but yet it was a relief.
“What were you doing in Lunes?”Artmyist asked suddenly wondering.
“I wanted to see if I could find Princess Sparrow. She's suppose to be a protector. That's why I ran away remember?”
“How could I forget? I found you by Red Moon Lake. You were cold, wet, and lonely. Crying your eyes out and trying to keep yourself alive. You were really close to dying you know.” Artmyist let his mind travel back all those years ago.
Artmyist was on his way to Lesnor Tower in Celestrial Falls. He was going by Red Moon Lake as a short cut. He made camp and started hunting for dinner. He heard a cough. Thinking it was one of his men he spun around getting ready to yell at them to go back. Instead he saw a small girl crying in the base off a tree. She was the one coughing. He went towards her carefully, not wanting to scare her.
“Hello there. Are you okay?” Artmyist asked the girl. She looked up at him with big scared eyes.
“Who are you?” said the tiny voice, hoarse from the cold.
“I'm Artmyist bent down to shake hands with the girl.”and yours?”
“Me? I'm Alki.; Princess of Lune but I ran away.” said the little princess.
“Why?”
“Because everyone loves sissy more than me. They say she's special.” the tiny princess's eyes grew dark with anger and hatred. If looks could kill than those eyes would be it.
“I don't think so. I think you are special.” Artmyist said thinking, contemplating ideas. He wanted to use this girl but not as a hostage maybe more. He was not sure but he was sure that he would raise this girl as his own.
“Would you like to live with me? I don't like your sissy either.” Artmyist said with evil hope.
It took the girl a few minutes to decide. “Sure.” was all she said. Artmyist took her back to his camp and nursed her back to health so sh could travel again.
